Melissa Hudson, DVM
Dr. Melissa earned her B.S. in Poultry Science from North Carolina State University in 1989, followed by her DVM from the NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. She is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, a certification that recognizes her commitment to the highest standards of veterinary care. In 2005, Dr. Melissa became the Practice Owner of Northwoods Animal Hospital, succeeding her father, Dr. Dan Hudson, upon his retirement. She lives in Cary with her Labrador, Posey, and her Golden Retriever, Ezra.

Kristin DeAngelo, DVM
Dr. DeAngelo was born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut. She graduated from NCSU College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Afterward, she spent three years working at a veterinary practice in Columbus, Ohio, while her husband, Sam, completed his dental residency. In July 2006, they returned to the area, and Dr. DeAngelo began working as an associate veterinarian in Cary. She joined our team of doctors in August 2016. Dr. DeAngelo has two wonderful sons, Brady and Bennett, as well as a rabbit named Cinna-bun.

Cody Crawford, DVM
Dr. Cody Crawford earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. She completed a rotating internship at The Ohio State University, followed by a specialty internship in interventional radiology and endoscopy at the Schwarzman Animal Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Crawford enjoys managing complex cases and has a strong interest in internal medicine. She values building long-term relationships with clients and their pets. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, attending concerts, and spending time with her dog, Huey, and her cats, Nori and Mochi.
